The Great Barrier Reef, Daintree and Cape Tribulation package is the best way to experience two UNESCO listed heritage areas. Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, as well as the Daintree Rainforest, the oldest rainforest on the planet.
Great Barrier Reef Tour
Begin your unforgettable day when you step onboard the high-speed Catamaran “Reef Experience”. You can explore two spectacular reef sites during your 5 hours on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. As soon as you sink below the surface, you will be blown away by the colourful scenery. These coral reefs are truly magnificent.
Spend up to 5 hours on the Great Barrier Reef
Reef Experience is Cairns’ only Great Barrier Reef tour that includes everything. Offering a FREEScuba Dive. Catering for all levels in Swimming, Snorkeling and Scuba Diving. It truly is the perfect way to experience the Great Barrier Reef.
Our crew will be on hand to show you all the secret spots. Specifically, those teeming with life, like the Clownfish in his anemone.
Never Snorkelled before or can’t Swim? Our friendly and professional Crew are always ready to assist. For this reason, we can make sure you are comfortable with your equipment. After all, we want to introduce you to some friendly fish! Not to mention the help you see the best parts of the reef!
Haven’t snorkelled before? No worries! Let the crew help you in the water!
A day on the Great Barrier Reef Tour will certainly be one of your most memorable days.
Cape Tribulation and Daintree Rainforest
Explore the exceptional biodiversity, and the ancient history of the UNESCO listed Cape Tribulation. Located within the Daintree National Park, you will explore the oldest living Rainforest. It is mindblowing when standing among a rainforest over 180 million years old!
Your day begins travelling north along the most scenic coastal highway. The Great Barrier Reef Drive is 140 km of endless ocean views. With this in mind, you will find yourself marvelling at all the brilliant shades of blue that you will see across the water. Before we head into Mossman Gorge, we will pay a quick visit to the Mossman Gorge Centre. After morning tea, we will then head on deeper into the rainforest to check out the pristine waters of Mossman Gorge. Join your guide for an informative walk and learn more about the surrounding rainforest.
Here you can spot abundant wildlife, but most importantly, keep your eyes peeled for the prehistoric saltwater croc!
Dig your toes into the shimmering sands of Cape Tribulation
Wander along Cape Tribulation Beach or join the walk up to Kulki lookout for a spectacular view. After all this exploring, you should have worked up an appetite, so it will be time to head to our exclusive private rainforest setting. Here we will enjoy a BBQ lunch in the shade while listening to the sweet sounds of the surrounding rainforest.
This eco accredited tour is led by experienced guides who have been in the region for many years. This means that you are certainly in good hands. This tour also operates with a GPS activated Audio Commentary system. The system is completely portable, wireless, and surprisingly, GPS triggered. So you don’t need to skip or select buttons! Commentary is delivered with both sound effects and music. You can bring along your own personal headset or hire a pair on the day at an extra cost. MultipleLanguages are available, including Japanese, German, French, Italian, Chinese, as well as Spanish.

All junior divers must either be accompanied by a certified parent or guardian or must dive with a dive professional at an additional charge. All passengers participating in any Scuba activities must complete a
Medical Questionnaire
. If you’ve answered yes to any questions or take any prescribed medication, you will need further medical clearance. This must be arranged prior to your day of departure.
Medication: DO NOT presume that by taking medication is controlling your medical conditions, and you should be fine to scuba dive, as it is the medication that can be the problem when scuba diving. Particularly prescribed medication may require a medical clearance.
The medical certification should be provided in English, preferably by a medical practitioner with experience in diving medicine, within 90 days prior to the scuba dive. The certificate must state that the person is medically fit to dive.
