Chillagoe Caves Australian Outback Tour

Chillagoe Caves tour explores the outback from Far North Queensland.

Chillagoe Caves 215 kilometres west of Cairns,  the caves a limestone caves, the estimate is that there are between 600-1000 caves in this area.

The first stop is at the Skybury Coffee Plantation, and there are all kinds of Australian animals to look out for on the way, from Emus, Wedge Tail Eagles, kangaroos and frilled neck lizards.

This tour also visits Granite Gorge, where there are great photo opportunities with the resident wallabies.

Keep an eye out for the Black Cockatoos that in this region.

Your guide will give an informative talk about how the Chillagoe Caves were formed from ancient reefs 400-420 million years ago.
