First, you’ll get to discover some of the region’s most incredible scenery, and you will learn more about the history of the area. Meanwhile, you will get up close and personal with native rainforest critters.
Night Walk
Your guide will take you on an exciting night walk after sharing a dinner. Find what lies behind the darkness of these ancient forests. Free time will be available to do some of the great optional activities.
The Daintree Rainforest
Estimated to date back 180 million years, the Daintree is the oldest living rainforest on the planet. In fact, it is older than the Amazon Rainforest by around 10 million years.
Importantly, it’s the only place in the world where you will find two World-heritage Listed sites next to each other. The Great Barrier Reef coupled with the Wet Tropics of Queensland.
A huge percentage of Australia’s animal species call the Daintree home. Some of these animals certainly can not be found anywhere else in the world.
Two of the more unique animals you may encounter on the Cairns to Cape Tribulation Tour are the Southern Cassowary as well as Bennett’s Tree Kangaroo.
Check out our Queensland outback tour and see the Chillagoe Caves.
